The subject of the project was the establishment by Asseco Poland SA. of an R&D Center in Rzeszów, which would be responsible for undertaking complex research and development work to develop proprietary ICT technologies and products for key sectors of the economy.

Description of the study
Following the project in Rzeszow, Asseco Group has launched a state-of-the-art R&D center. This facility focuses on developing advanced technologies and IT products for key sectors, targeting both Polish and international markets.
The new R&D Center building is integrated with the existing company headquarters on Olchowa Street in Rzeszow. It encompasses over 9,000 square meters, with five above-ground levels dedicated to office space and one additional level for technical use. This space is allocated for R&D operations. The design of the building accommodates optimal work conditions for 400 employees. The investment is covered by a grant application and is fully accessible to individuals with disabilities.

The newly formed R&D Center serves as a hub for advanced research and development efforts aimed at creating proprietary IT technologies and products for industries including energy, telecommunications and media, healthcare, banking, agriculture, business, and public administration. It also focuses on broadly defined IT security projects.
Research is centered on key phenomena and trends in new technologies, such as the Internet of Things, telemedicine, electromobility, and smart power grids. The R&D Center also deals with artificial intelligence solutions, featuring self-learning systems based on Machine Learning. Utilizing advanced data analysis from diverse sources in real time, the system autonomously identifies user actions and potential safety measures. Asseco is also advancing projects for drone control systems, involving a team of the nation’s leading experts with extensive software development experience. Moreover, the R&D Center is engaged in developing solutions in Big Data and Cloud Computing.
