“Research in context modeling and processing with Machine Learning, developing the Multistream Context Processor concept, and its implementation in the Avagat system prototype, aiming to commercialize the context-based model as a service.” (AVAGAT)

implemented under the Operational Programme for Intelligent Development 2014-2020, Priority Axis I: Support for R&D activities by enterprises, Measure 1.1: R&D projects of enterprises, Sub-measure 1.1.1: Industrial research and development work carried out by enterprises, Project no: POIR.01.01.01-00-0934/16 Grant agreement no: POIR.01.01.01-00-0934/16-00 Grant agreement date: 9/06/2017

The project planned by the Telecommunications and Media Division involves developing the world's first prototype system that will utilize advanced learning mechanisms to process context. The objective is to create algorithms and an Operational Intelligence environment to enable multi-channel, personalized customer interactions.

Description of the study

The core of the system is the Multi-Stream Context Processor, designed to aggregate and analyze real-time data from various sensory sources, including websites, mobile devices, social media, and the Internet of Things. By integrating sensory fusion with advanced machine learning mechanisms, the system can understand the context of the collected data and perform appropriate actions autonomously.

Identifying contextual information and building profiles based on it, then combining it with current information and developing predictive analysis mechanisms will allow identification of potential future events based on current and historical information. This capability enables the AVAGAT system not only to react to events but also to take preemptive actions to prevent them.

System prototype

The resulting AVAGAT system will enable convergent service providers (primarily telecoms) to use it to create new products and services with an unprecedented degree of personalization and the ability to respond to the current individual needs of end users.

As a result, convergent service providers will get a tool with which they can access the full picture of their customer's situation. This information will be automatically generated by the system. They will gain the ability to conduct multi-channel customer interactions through their employees, devices (such as cell phones or smartwatches) and intelligent bot agents.
