The year 2019 was very successful for Asseco - for the first time we generated PLN 10.7 billion in consolidated revenues and PLN 976 million in operating profit. In line with our strategy, we focused on the production of proprietary software and provision of related services. Such revenues accounted for 81% of our sales, said Adam Góral, President of the Management Board of Asseco Poland.
Asseco is a leading European software producer. For almost 30 years it has been developing technologically advanced solutions for companies from key sectors of the economy. The company is present in over 55 countries around the world and employs nearly 27,000 people.

Spanish company Tecsisa joined the Asseco Group in 2019. It provides comprehensive software solutions to energy producers and retailers worldwide. It is present, among others, in Spain and South America - Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Argentina. Its Kommodo platform, a native cloud and big data solution, designed specifically for the utilities sector, has already been implemented in global power company Enel, one of the largest utilities and also the world's largest renewable energy producer. It operates in 33 countries on 5 continents.
"We have been working with the Enel Group for many years, and now we will expand our cooperation to new countries such as Chile, Panama and Colombia. We are delivering the Kommodo platform in SaaS model (Software as a Service), which allows us to achieve higher operational efficiency for our customers while reducing operating costs," said Victor Ruiz, President of the Management Board of Tecsisa.
Asseco is strengthening its position in the power industry also in Eastern Europe. After winning a tender, Asseco Lithuania has signed an agreement for the maintenance and development of the billing system operated by state-controlled energy group lgnitis (Lietuvos Energija). In addition, the company has joined an ongoing tender for building a new billing system. The Lithuanian company is present in 4 countries: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland.
"The Asseco Group has been consistently expanding in the utilities sector on international markets and strengthening its expertise in the area of CIS systems that improve sales, billing and customer service. We focus on functional solutions that offer flexible scalability and respond to new business, operational and technical requirements. This is one of the main challenges currently faced by power and utilities companies. The AUMS family of products developed by Asseco, combined with native cloud solutions delivered in the SaaS model, meets the broad needs of today's power industry" - said Paweł Piwowar, Vice President of the Management Board, Asseco Poland.
The Asseco Group manages over forty million electricity and gas consumption points worldwide. In Poland alone, over 60% of energy bills are generated based on AUMS, the family of proprietary solutions for the utilities sector.

IT solutions have never been more important than now. Business is increasingly dependent on it, which has been well demonstrated by the need to switch to remote working. The demand for such solutions, for modification of IT systems, will continue. But now the most important thing for companies is to survive - it is natural that the projects concerning innovations, cutting-edge ideas have come to the background - said Adam Góral. The strength of Asseco is its strong position as a supplier of software for the largest companies and the public sector - he added.
The list is based on the evaluations of company CEOs made by 4,000 investors, the readers of the Parkiet daily.

I would like to thank the Award Chapter for recognizing these 30 years of hard work which enabled us to become the real ambassadors of Polish IT around the world. I would like to thank my team, we operate in more than 50 countries and every day each of these 27,000 people works to make our brand recognizable - said Adam Góral. I would like to thank my business partners, those who were with me in the past and those who are with me today. I would like to thank the Polish capital market, because without the Polish market one Pole from Rzeszów would not be able to fulfill such a beautiful vision - he added.
Adam Góral has managed to create a stable company that has been generating value for its shareholders for years. In 2019 the Asseco Group's sales revenues exceeded PLN 10 billion, 89% of which were generated by international operations. In turn, operating profit for this period amounted to PLN 976 million.

Owing to the constant development of the company, it systematically increases its employment and thus strengthens its position on the employer market. Additionally, quick and responsible response to the new market situation caused by the coronavirus epidemic has made it possible for Asseco to ensure stable employment.
