Asseco was ranked 17th in the "IDC FinTech Rankings: Top 100" list prepared by the international consulting and research firm International Data Corporation (IDC). The ranking includes the largest technology providers to the financial sector.
Asseco is the largest software producer in Central and Eastern Europe, with proprietary products and services accounting for nearly 80 percent of its revenues. The Asseco Group offers, among other things, state-of-the-art systems for banking, including core systems, omni-channel solutions for online and mobile banking, as well as specialized, off-the-shelf products that only need to be tailored to the specifics of the client's business. Its portfolio also includes solutions available in the cloud such as Asseco BooX, a comprehensive platform for banking and financial services and processes. It also provides clients in the banking and insurance sectors with solutions for data warehousing, AML process support and electronic document workflow platforms. The Asseco Group's sales to the financial sector in 2021 exceeded PLN 5 billion, accounting for 35 percent of its total revenues.
The Asseco Group also cooperates with large international insurance companies. Sapiens International, the Group's competence center in this area, is a leading global provider of software for the insurance sector worldwide. In addition, Asseco offers comprehensive IT solutions to support the payments sector, the work of brokerage houses, leasing and factoring companies.
From the very beginning of our activity, the financial sector and especially the banking sector have been very important to us. We started with solutions for banks and continue to create modern and technologically advanced solutions for this industry. Our strong performance in the banking and finance sector, to a large extent, is thanks to our long-standing cooperation with the existing customers of Asseco Poland, Asseco Central Europe or Asseco South Eastern Europe, as well as to our growing base of new customers worldwide, under the development of Sapiens International, Matrix IT, Magic Software or Asseco PST," said Adam Góral, President and Founder of the Asseco Group. Our strengths are our proprietary products and very strong expertise in the finance and banking sectors. We are not only a provider of state-of-the-art IT solutions, but first and foremost a proven partner that constantly cares about the development of systems that allow banks and financial institutions to build competitive advantage and value for their clients, he added.
The report "IDC FinTech Rankings: Top 100" includes providers of technology solutions (hardware, software and services) for the banking, insurance, capital markets and fintechs supporting these sectors. The main criterion for the list was the amount of revenue achieved in these areas.

Asseco Poland ranked 2nd in the list of CIT payers in the eastern macro-region, according to the report "CIT Leaders - How Polish Companies Pay Taxes" prepared by Polityka Insight. It is the highest ranked IT company included in the report.
Asseco Poland is the second largest CIT payer in the eastern macro-region, i.e. the Podlaskie, Lubelskie and Podkarpackie voivodeships. Scale and consistency in paying taxes is part of the strategy of Poland's largest software developer.
Our strategy is defined by our motto: We think globally, we act locally, said Adam Góral, CEO of Asseco Poland. We take a responsible approach to business and are guided by local patriotism, which is why Asseco companies pay taxes in the places where they generate revenues and support local communities. This is because such a business model allows for long-term, stable development in the modern world, he added.
The purpose of the report "CIT Leaders - How Polish Companies Pay Taxes" is, among other things, to facilitate the interpretation of data on CIT taxpayers and to distinguish those businesses that reliably pay taxes. The report compares CIT taxpayers within the same industry, compiles all available data on CIT paid in 2012-2020, and simultaneously analyzes four indicators: CIT in absolute terms, in relation to revenues and in relation to value added, as well as the growth rate of payments.

Asseco was ranked 3rd in the "Most important companies for Poland" list in the "Non-financial companies" category. It is the only IT company to be included in this ranking. The list was prepared by the "Rzeczpospolita" daily. Its purpose is to distinguish companies of key importance to the Polish economy, and thus to the development of the country.
Asseco is a leader in digitization in Poland and the largest IT company in the Central and Eastern European region. Last year alone, it achieved record revenues of PLN 14.5 billion, up 19 percent from 2020. It started its operations in Rzeszów, as a company producing IT systems for cooperative banks. Today, it employs nearly 32,000 people and develops high-tech software for companies in key sectors of the economy. The Asseco Group companies are listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), NASDAQ and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Asseco Poland is an IT giant with ambitions to be the largest Polish producer of software for companies in key economic sectors. Since starting its international expansion in 2004, the company has built a strong Group operating in 60 countries around the world, summarized Bogusław Chrabota, editor-in-chief of the Rzeczpospolita daily, who presented the award to Przemysław Sęczkowski, vice president of Asseco International, during the Economic Forum in Karpacz.
In this year's edition of the "Most Important Companies for Poland" ranking, the 250 largest companies whose financial data was publicly available were evaluated. The analytical stage of the competition took into account, among other things, the company's share of Poland's GDP, the ratio of employment to average employment in the economy and the share of taxes in the company's revenues. The second stage involved voting by the ranking's editorial award committee.

In the first half of 2022, Asseco generated PLN 8.3 billion in revenues, which marked an increase by 22% year-on-year. The sales of proprietary products and IT services went up, compared to the first six months of the previous year, by 21% and amounted to PLN 6.4 billion. Consolidated operating profit amounted to PLN 930 million, up by 38%. Net profit attributable to the shareholders of the parent company stood at PLN 249 million, up by 3%. The Group continued its growth in all business segments.
For the assessment of the financial situation and development of the Asseco Group's business activities, the basic data published in non-IFRS* terms is an important piece of information. In the first half of this year, non-IFRS operating profit amounted to PLN 964 million, up by 17% versus the first half of the previous year, and non-IFRS net profit amounted to PLN 271 million, up by 8%.
The Group pursued its strategy of geographic, product and sector diversification of its business, resulting in increased sales in all operating segments. In H1 2022, foreign markets represented by Formula Systems and Asseco International accounted for 90% of the Group's total sales.
Revenues in the Formula Systems segment amounted to PLN 5.5 billion, up by 27%, and operating profit reached PLN 635 million, having increased by 87% versus the corresponding period in 2021. The reported level of operating profit in this segment is significantly and negatively impacted by additional amortization costs of intangible assets recognized under the acquisition settlement (PPA) and costs of equity-settled transactions with employees (SBP), which reduced it by PLN 162 million in H1 2022. At the same time, in the reporting period, operating profit in the amount of PLN 192 million was favorably impacted by the sale of shares in Infinity Labs R&D. After taking these adjustments into account, the Formula Systems segment's non-IFRS operating profit stood at PLN 605 million, which marked an increase by 27% versus the same period last year.
In the Asseco International segment, sales rose by 15% to PLN 1.9 billion, and operating profit reached PLN 155 million. The segment's non-IFRS operating profit was 3% higher year-on-year, reaching PLN 213 million.
The Asseco Poland segment generated PLN 838 million in revenues, 12% more than a year earlier, and operating profit was 2% higher at PLN 141 million.
Asseco's revenues are very well diversified by sector. In H1 2022, they were distributed as follows: general business segment - 43%, banking and finance segment - 33%, and public institutions segment - 24%.
In Q2 2022 alone, the Group recorded sales of PLN 4.2 billion, which marked an increase by 23%. Operating profit was PLN 540 million (up by 54%), and non-IFRS operating profit reached PLN 484 million (up by 13%). Net profit attributable to the shareholders of the parent company stood at PLN 141 million (up by 1%), and in non-IFRS terms at PLN 147 million (up by 10%).
The first half of the year was positive for us. Despite the difficult situation in the economy, we maintained the upward trend in our financial results. We reported revenue growth in all business segments. Our geographic, product and sector diversification of business and strong demand for digital solutions allow us to grow steadily. On a non-IFRS basis, our operating profit grew by 17% and non-IFRS net profit by 8%. The lower growth rate of non-IFRS operating profit vs. non-IFRS net profit is due to our sales mix and the more dynamic growth of the places where we do not consolidate 100% of net result, i.e. mainly the Formula Systems Group companies. Non-IFRS operating profit of the Asseco Poland segment, which is consolidated at the net level practically in its entirety, and for which there is no exchange rate effect, increased by 2%. We see these increases as a great success in such a turbulent environment, comments Karolina Rzońca-Bajorek, Vice President of the Management Board of Asseco Poland.
In the first 6 months of 2022, we executed servicing and development contracts for existing customers. We also signed new long-term contracts. We have consistently pursued a strategy based on our proprietary products and M&A. In the first half of this year, 7 new companies joined the Asseco Group. We approach the future with caution, taking into account the macroeconomic situation and the increase in labor costs. However, we are not slowing down when it comes to contracting new projects, which is confirmed by the double-digit growth of Asseco's order backlog for 2022, added Karolina Rzońca-Bajorek, Vice President of the Management Board of Asseco Poland.
Asseco's consolidated order backlog for 2022 in floating exchange rates, in the area of proprietary software and services, is now worth PLN 12.5 billion and is 24% higher than in the same period last year. In constant exchange rates, in which the backlog for 2021 was converted, the increase is 11% to PLN 11.2 billion.
*Non-IFRS recognition includes adjustments for the cost of amortization of intangible assets recognized as part of the merger settlement (PPA), for the cost of equity-settled transactions with employees (SBP), and for income and expenses related to company acquisitions/sales and one-time events (and related tax effects).

Asseco became the leader of the "ITWiz Best100" ranking, taking 1st place in 14 categories of the list. Record revenues of PLN 14.5 billion ensured the company a leading position among the largest capital groups in the IT industry. At the same time, it is the largest company with Polish capital selling its proprietary products and services. Asseco achieved the highest revenues among providers of maintenance, integration, cloud computing and application implementation services. In addition, it is the company with the highest sales to the public administration and uniformed services, finance, industry and large companies. Asseco also won in the category of ERP and CRM system providers.
