The transaction value amounted to the equivalent of USD 1 million. Subsequently, the acquired company has been renamed as Asseco Kazachstan LLP.
New Technologies Integrator LLP (NTI LLP) was founded in 2006. “Kazakhstan has much potential for growth and we have been looking for an investment opportunity in this country for a long time. We are satisfied that we managed to find very good partners with whom Asseco can build a strong market position in Kazakhstan. I am convinced that by combining the local market knowledge with over 20 years of our experience in the IT industry and extensive product portfolio, we will be able to offer the best software solutions for the largest Kazakh companies and institutions,” said Adam Góral, President and CEO of Asseco Poland.
Kazakhstan is a rich country and one of the fastest growing economies in the region. It has reached the highest level of per-capita GDP among the CIS countries, except for the Russian Federation. The World Bank analysts assess the attractiveness of investing in Kazakhstan slightly higher than in Poland. Polish goods enjoy a high reputation in Kazakhstan, being associated not only with good price but, above all, with high quality. Many Polish producers are very successful in the Kazakh market and found clients for their goods and services. Asseco has gained its first experience in this market by implementing an information system for Polpharma Group’s subsidiary operating in Kazakhstan.
Asseco Group consistently pursues its development strategy aiming to build a global information technology company specialized in software development and provision of highly advanced IT services. The Group focuses on emerging markets that are characterized by high economic growth and increasing demand for IT technologies. After Russia and Georgia, Kazakhstan is the third country in the region where Asseco is developing its business operations.

E-health services will be launched on the basis of Asseco’s comprehensive software solution for hospitals – Asseco Medical Management Solutions. Implementation of the AMMS system will enable the hospitals to not only launch e-health services, but also to prepare for the introduction of Electronic Medical Records. The hospital system will be also linked with diagnostic laboratories.“Doctors will get an easy insight into testing results from any place in the hospital, because after downloading our mHOSP application they will be able to use the AMMS system on mobile devices,” saysJan Butkiewicz, Vice Director at the Healthcare Division, Asseco Poland. Thanks to the system’s mobility, the results of medical consultations and recommendations will be available from anywhere in the hospital. The system will also facilitate the issuance of referrals for specialist care, because most of the required information is already contained in the database. Doctors, using a touch screen, will determine the subsequent examination and this information – along with the patient details – will appear on the monitor at the right doctor’s office or treatment room.AMMS is an integrated component-based IT solution operated through a web browser. It supports all medical and administrative processes, providing patients with convenient remote contact with the hospital, and enabling the hospital managers to monitor the treatment costs. As far as the nursing staff work is concerned, the system will facilitate planning for and maintaining records of drug administrations, assigning treatment rooms, entering information from the measurement of vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, etc.), planning for patient care activities. The application has been developed to comply with the new requirements for Electronic Medical Records. All documents concerning medications and treatment, discharge from the hospital, statistical descriptions, medical tests, certificates, prescriptions, post-disease analyses or recommendations are issued using the patient’s data that have been collected during their stay in the hospital and entered into the various modules of AMMS. This makes it possible to prepare such documents within just a couple of minutes.
