Asseco Poland will implement an IT system at the Municipal Polyclinic Hospital in Częstochowa. The implementation will include Asseco Medical Management Solutions which are dedicated for healthcare facilities. The Company will also launch Electronic Health Records and a Management Information System, supply computer hardware, and train the hospital’s staff. The contract worth over PLN 1.9 million has been concluded following an open tender. The project will be completed in May 2015.The Municipal Polyclinic Hospital in Częstochowa has contracted Asseco Poland to implement its Asseco Medical Management Solutions (AMMS) dedicated to the healthcare sector, supply computer hardware including clinical tablets, and train the hospital’s staff. AMMS is going to be integrated with legacy radiology and laboratory systems.This project will significantly increase the scope of the hospital’s informatization, helping to optimize theflow of information and reduce operating costs. It will also involve launching a process of data exchange between AMMS modules and software applications used by the hospital’s administrative departments. Another important element will be the Management Information System that will enable the hospital’s managerial staff to monitor its financial results on a daily basis. MIS will also support the analysis of medical statistics as well as control of the hospital’s settlements with the National Healthcare Fund. It will, for example, inform to what extent the executed medical services have been already invoiced.In addition, doctors will be provided with access to medical records basically from any place in thehospital. This will be enabled by the mHOSP mobile application to be installed on clinical tablets. Byusing this solution, doctors will be able to order medical procedures regardless of where they are currently located, and information about such request, along with the patient details, will be delivered to the appropriate treatment room or laboratory.Another important element of the project is to launch Electronic Medical Records which, in accordance with the applicable regulations, must be implemented in all medical facilities by the middle of 2017.
