PROMAK Plus RNZ is a system dedicated to work with the PROMAK Trading Platform developed by Asseco. The new solution enables brokers to expand the scope of services offered to stock investors. It provides access to foreign exchanges in the same way as to the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Furthermore, investors can take advantage of the system’s complete functionality by using mobile applications, which make it possible to send orders basically from any place and at any time.“In 2014, almost half of our client brokerage houses offered their services also on mobile devices,” said Artur Trunowicz, Director of the Capital Market Division at Asseco Poland S.A. “Mobility is an important trend in today's marketplace, therefore, when developing our new solution for trading in foreign markets, we wanted to ensure its comfortable use on computers as well as on smartphones and tablets. It was also our priority to provide a secure and intuitive tool that would be easy to use, hence it features the option to place orders with just a click of a button,” he added. When using PROMAK Plus RNZ, investors are informed about the optimal conditions for placing an order in response to the currently listed price of a security. All it takes is to click on the “buy” or “sell” button. In such a case, the system will send an order matching the best ask or bid price. Orders with a limit price can be placed just as easy. Furthermore, investors can utilize their funds in Polish zlotys for the settlement of trades conducted on foreign markets. Hence, there is no need for currency conversions which contributes to the overall efficiency of investments. The new solution of Asseco will be first implemented at the Brokerage House of PKO BP Bank, which is the largest institution of such type in Poland.„The Brokerage House of PKO BP continues to expand its services portfolio based on the latest technologies. By implementing this new solution, we will be able to offer our customers a possibility to invest money in foreign markets with the help of an innovative and user-friendly tool,” said Filip Paszke, Director of the Brokerage House of PKO BP.During the project execution, internal IT systems of PKO BP Brokerage House have been adjusted to the new solution in order to ensure seamless communication with foreign stock exchanges. In addition, as all the key processes are performed in the STP (Straight Through Processing) mode, customers are provided with real-time access to current information and automatic handling of orders.Brokers are more and more interested in software tools that enable trouble-free trading in foreign markets due to a number of benefits offered by investing on a global scale. There are thousands of companies listed on foreign exchanges, which have a high degree of liquidity. Moreover, customers are able to trade in stocks of companies with an international reach and well-established position in industries that are not represented on the WSE.
