Na spotkaniu obecnych było ponad 120 uczestników, a wśród nich przedstawiciele, m.in. największych banków w Polsce, w tym Narodowego Banku Polskiego, PKO BP, PKO SA oraz ING Banku Śląskiego. Jednym z zagadnień poruszonych na spotkaniu była automatyzacja procesów zarządzania gotówką, na temat którego swoją prezentację wygłosił Maciej Przybyła, Z-ca Dyrektora Pionu Business Intelligence.Statystyki przedstawione przez NBP wskazują, że w obiegu znajduje się coraz więcej gotówki. Uczestnicy dyskutowali także, jak wykorzystać zagraniczne praktyki, w celu optymalizacji procesów. Asseco na swoim stoisku zaprezentowało również zaawansowane technologicznie rozwiązanie do zarządzania obrotem gotówki – Asseco ACM (Asseco Advanced Cash Management).

More than 80% of Asseco Group’s revenues are generated from proprietary software and related services. The company operates in the sectors of banking, telecommunications, energy and public administration, just to mention a few. The acquisition of Infovide-Matrix will enable Asseco to expand its portfolio of services related to software solutions of global third-party vendors, as well as to diversify and strengthen Asseco’s position in the market for IT services. Infovide-Matrix, acting as a partner for many international IT providers, has for years specialized in this business and developed operating models that will now be available to Asseco in further expansion of its Group. “Along with the development of markets and various sectors of the economy, the role of software solutions that bring companies closer to their customers is growing rapidly. This requires advanced IT solutions and specialized services. The teams of Asseco and Infovide-Matrix have complementary competencies, and therefore both the parties see great benefits from prospective joint operations. We will be able to present a more comprehensive offering to our customers, giving us a competitive edge in the Polish market,” said Adam Góral, President of Asseco Poland. Until the transaction is finalized, Infovide-Matrix will operate without any changes and implement contracts and projects for its existing clients. Ultimately, the teams of both companies will work closely together, providing services for sectors such as energy, banking, telecommunications and public administration.Both the parties are going to continue to perform their existing contracts, while providing their customers with the comprehensive offering and know-how of both Infovide-Matrix and the entire Asseco Group. Moreover, the clients of Infovide-Matrix will from now on deal with a large and stable partner which is able to ensure complete implementation of more challenging projects. “Implementation of complex projects based on technologies of global software vendors requires the development of related services. As the team of Infovide-Matrix, one of the leading providers of such IT services in Poland, joins Asseco Group, we will be able to significantly accelerate our expansion in this segment of the market. Recognizing the competence and efficient operations of the Infovide-Matrix team, I believe our Group will provide it with a number of interesting new opportunities arising from the availability of strong capital support, possibility to broaden professional skills, as well as from our customer relationships and worldwide presence,” commented Adam Góral.The transaction shall be finalized upon obtaining due consent from the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, and on condition shares tendered for sale under the tender offer enable Asseco to acquire at least a 70.01 percent equity interest in the target company.

During the project execution, Asseco is going to transfer customers’ data into a new billing system, namely Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM). The migration process will cover the data of B2B fixed-line telephony customers as well as wholesalers, who offer their own telecommunications services based on the infrastructure provided by Orange Poland. The project will enable Orange to consolidate its billing systems and to upgrade the level of its customer services and the related billing and revenue management. The migration of customer data is expected to be completed by mid-2017.
“We have been assigned to collect the system requirements, carry out the analytical phase, implement any modifications to the BRM system and its integrated software environment, as well as to migrate the customers’ data,” said Radosław Semkło, Director of the Telecommunications and Media Division at Asseco Poland.
“Serat Deco is a continuation of key activities undertaken by Orange Poland in the area of billing systems, as well as one of our major strategic programs aimed at the transformation of our business and technology. Building a new integrated software environment is an important element of this transformation,” said Piotr Muszyński, Vice President of Orange Poland. “This will change our approach to selling and servicing modern telecommunications services, and in particular converged services,” he added.
Asseco is one of the key IT vendors for Orange Poland. It acts as the operator’s partner being responsible, among others, for the development of invoicing and customer service systems as well as for outsourcing of a billing system for fixed-line telephony. The company has also implemented its proprietary Asseco Utility Management Solutions (AUMS) which support the management and billing processes involved in the sale of electricity that has been launched by Orange Poland earlier this year.

A technologically advanced network to be built by Asseco will provide the basis for further project activities with the objective to implement electronic medical records in Mazovian hospitals, which are supervised by regional authorities, as well as to establish the Center for Economic and Statistical Analysis. “Our task is to modernize and expand local area networks at 23 medical centers in order to enable fast and secure data transfer among these hospitals,” said Andrzej Dopierała, Vice President of Asseco Poland S.A., and added: “It will also allow for efficient sharing of information during patient treatment processes.”Under the concluded agreement, Asseco will be responsible, among others, for the design, supply, installation, configuration and deployment of network infrastructure, as well as for the implementation of software.The key priority of the “e-Health for Mazovia” project is to provide the largest possible number of inhabitants with the possibility of using the Internet as a tool to communicate with doctors, as well as to streamline the work of medical personnel. Furthermore, the project aims to ensure safe and lawful generation, storage and transmission of medical records between hospitals, as well as integration of such resources with the Electronic Platform for Gathering of Information on Medical Procedures P1 which is developed on the national level.Asseco has extensive experience in projects involving the computerization of healthcare centers. The company created, among others, the Regional Medical Information Center for the Subcarpathian Province. It is the first such a comprehensive regional e-health system implemented in Poland among all integrated software solutions dedicated for the healthcare sector.The Mazovian Hospital in Bródno, Warsaw, acts as a leader of the “e-Health for Mazovia” project which is carried out within the Priority II “Accelerating e-Development in Mazovia”, Measure 2.1 “Counteracting information exclusion” under the Mazovian Regional Operational Programme for the years 2007-2013.

The AMMS system will provide support for the hospital’s medical departments (HIS). The project is intended to upgrade the quality of medical services and management at the Railways Hospital in Wilkowice-Bystra. Once the implementation is completed, the hospital will be able to use 22 applications that will support the daily work of its personnel, among others, at the admissions office, consultation rooms, laboratories, and hospital pharmacy. The new software will allow for more efficient organization of treatment processes by providing doctors will all the necessary information on the patient’s hospitalization, test results and medical parameters. Software mechanisms featured by AMMS, such as asymmetric cryptography, will ensure highly reliable and secure flow of information.“AMMS is a state-of-the-art managerial tool that enables efficient collection and distribution of information as well as creation of electronic medical records,” said Krzysztof de Lorm, Commercial Director at the Healthcare Systems Division of Asseco Poland S.A. “Quick access to information, intuitive and highly comfortable operation of this modern IT system have been appreciated by more than 170 hospitals already,” he added.The implementation of AMMS system has been assigned to Asseco’s partner, namely Info-Lider, which is also going to install new computer and network hardware.

AMMS is a comprehensive IT solution dedicated to large and medium-sized hospitals, polyclinics, medical centers, outpatient clinics and emergency departments. AMMS features a number of functionalities for the identification of patients, including registration of referrals with the help two-dimensional barcodes, as well as retrieval of patient data from identity documents. It also enables printing and reading of doctor referrals in the encoded form. Transmission of such documents in electronic format between different medical centers reduces the time of patient registration and admission, while eliminating errors that might occur due to incorrect reading of handwriting.

Asseco Poland, the largest provider of IT systems in Poland and one of the major software vendors in Europe, purchased a majority stake in the Portuguese IT company Exictos SGPS. The company specializes in the production and implementation of software for the banking sector, serving more than 60 banks in Portuguese-speaking countries. The headquarters of Exictos is located in Lisbon, where 220 people are employed. The company conducts its business operations in emerging markets in Africa, such as Angola, Mozambique and Cape Verde. Exictos employs approximately 400 persons in all of its offices. The company generated over EUR 41 million in sales revenues for 2014, while its net profit reached almost EUR 5 million.

Asseco has pursued an active acquisitions policy for many years, hence today it is present in more than 40 countries worldwide. The takeover of Exictos will enable Asseco to enter new markets in Europe, Africa and Asia and, in the longer term, also in South America. Furthermore, this transaction will help boost Asseco’s presence in the Iberian region, while offering good prospects for cooperation between Exictos and Asseco Spain. Owing to this acquisition, Asseco Group will also reinforce its position as a global provider of software for the banking industry.
