For many years, banks have been facing rising costs of authorization and communication with their customers. The mToken Asseco MAA application allows banks to reduce these costs and at the same time increase the security of transactions.mToken Asseco MAA allows for Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), which guarantees a higher level of credibility and protection from fraud. Therefore, the application meets the PSD2 directive's recommendations. The application also enables communication with customers by means of PUSH messages, which are an excellent alternative to previously popular text messages. Owing to the Asseco's solution, a bank does not have to purchase any physical devices, and a customer does not have to rewrite additional codes from them. The application also allows to support multiple accounts in multiple banks. The costs associated with sending paid text messages are also eliminated.

The first customers of co-operative banks have already started using our new application. It gives them a fast, convenient and safe form of accepting Internet banking operations, said Andrzej Nowakowski, Director of the Cooperative Banks Division at Asseco Poland. The mobile token's functionality offered by Asseco Poland under the name of mToken Asseco MAA is a way to reduce the costs of providing Internet banking services to customers. In our view, it also has the potential to help cooperative banks with attracting young people, for whom technical innovations are an important factor in the choice of a bank. It is also important that thanks to the implementation of the mToken technology, a bank will fulfill the obligations resulting from the PSD2 directive. Undoubtedly, the application also offers development potential and we can see the possibility of providing it with other interesting functionalities, said Piotr Mazur, IT Team Director at Poznański Bank Spółdzielczy. The current trend of miniaturization directs activity away from notebooks and tablets towards mobile phones and smartwatches. As long as a telephone is needed in the form of an additional device for communication -  everyone would like to have everything they need in one place - in a place that is always with them and that they will not forget, like a wallet with documents. A mobile token is the basis of security and modernity - it gives us the opportunity to use banking anytime and anywhere, and also maintain all the standards of security and convenience (remember that soon the PSD2 Directive will come into force, which will change a lot on the market - especially in the field of e-commerce), said Roland Węgrzynowski, Head of the IT Team at Gospodarczy Bank Spółdzielczy w Barlinku.

mToken Asseco MAA can be used by retail and corporate customers of banks whose Internet systems are integrated with the application. The application can be downloaded from the following stores:

The implementation in Orient Commercial Bank has been carried out by Asseco Central Europe with the participation of experienced experts from Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Vietnam. The project has been carried out in a very short time. The period from the first analysis to the production launch of the system lasted only 9 months. The implementation of the project is the beginning of a long-term cooperation between Asseco and Orient Commercial Bank. The Asseco Customer Banking Platform (Asseco CBP) system is a state-of-the-art solution for Internet and mobile banking based on the concept of a mini-application. Among other things, the system enables customers to freely shape their banking operations and use a wide range of products and services available on the remote access platform. Banking solutions such as Asseco CBP provide customers with access to banking services 24 hours a day via any device connected to the Internet.

The modernization of the bank and its online services was the main objective of the implementation of Asseco Customer Banking Platform in the Vietnamese Orient Commercial Bank. This solution creates modern and user-friendly environment for the clients of that institution, said Jozef Klein, CEO of Asseco Central Europe.

The dynamics of changes in the area of digital banking services has been rapidly growing. Asseco CBP allows banks to flexibly create their offer and respond to the needs of their customers, both in the area of Internet and mobile banking solutions. The implementation in Vietnam is another export project of the Asseco Group carried out for a large bank. The whole process of digital transformation is a difficult task, in which a huge amount of data is processed into a form which is easy to understand by the customers, while maintaining all the security standards. The solution based on Asseco Customer Banking Platform, implemented in the Vietnamese bank, meets all these requirements.

Workflow integrates the services of specialized IT systems, such as Farmer, NSIU or KACHNA, used to provide insurance and benefits to farmers and their family members. Through a uniform user interface in the form of a portal for KRUS's employees, it ensures secure data exchange with external institutions, such as the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) (e.g. in the field of e-sick leaves), the National Health Fund (NFZ), the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (ARiMR), the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy (MRPiPS) and the Farmer Rehabilitation Centers. In turn, the central component of the Workflow system - the Identity Management - ensures control and security of access to the ZSI. The system also offers access to the "KRUS e-Contribution" service, which allows for making social security and health insurance contributions by means of online direct payments. The agreement with KRUS will be executed by the consortium of Asseco Poland and Asseco Data Systems within 48 months from the date of its signature.

Under the signed contract, Asseco will take care of the maintenance of the Workflow system, ensuring its uninterrupted, failure-free and safe operations. We will also provide technical support and end-user support. The development of the system, in turn, will involve the introduction of all modifications resulting from changes in legislation, IT projects implemented by KRUS and other needs. Currently, Asseco's solution is used by more than 3,000 KRUS's employees in over 250 locations. In turn, the eKRUS system is used by over 15,000 farmers and their number has been growing rapidly, said Witold Malina, Director of the Agriculture Division, Asseco Poland. The Workflow system is integrated with other systems that support KRUS's activity: registration of insured persons, payment of short-term benefits and granting and payment of pension and disability benefits. Therefore, ensuring continuity of all processes, including punctuality and correctness of disbursements, is key in this project.  The competence team of Asseco Data Systems, which has many years of analytical and design experience in carrying out tasks for KRUS, will be responsible for achieving this goal. It will provide support services to end users of the system at KRUS with the use of multi-channel SERVICE-DESK, said Lech Szczuka, Vice President of the Management Board of Asseco Data Systems, responsible for the Social Benefits Division.

For many years, Asseco Poland has been a reliable partner for institutions involved in the Polish agriculture sector. Over the past few years, the company has implemented projects for the Agricultural Property Agency (ANR), the Agency for the Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (ARiMR) and KRUS.

***

Asseco Poland developed the Workflow system for KRUS as the winner of an international tender settled in 2009. It was a very complex project, which was financed with funds from the World Bank. At that time, Asseco integrated the systems in KRUS in such a way that they could function as a uniform central system in the whole country. In 2014, the company signed a 4-year agreement with KRUS for the maintenance and development of the system. The company has been supporting Polish farmers for many years, being the largest producer of software for the public sector in Poland. The company has built and implemented comprehensive systems for, among others, the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (ARiMR), the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS), the Agricultural Property Agency (ANR), the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and the Ministry of Interior and Administration and the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMiGW). Asseco Poland is also the largest Polish IT company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) and the sixth-largest producer of software. It leads the international Asseco Group, which operates in 54 countries and employs over 24,000 people.

Among the nominated Polish companies, the jury took into account their impact on the potential of Polish exports, the success of their activities on foreign markets and their effectiveness in creating opportunities for other Polish companies.

Poland needs foreign investments of good quality and such investments have been flowing to us, said Jerzy Kwieciński, the Minister of Investment and Development. But it is also important to point out that the expansion of Polish companies abroad has begun, and it is supported by the government, he added. This is a great distinction for us, but we are particularly pleased with the event at which we receive this award, as we are dealing here with startups, said Artur Wiza, Vice President of Asseco Poland. Our company began its operations 25 years ago as a startup in Rzeszów, and today we are present in 54 countries. I hope that many of today's startups will follow our footsteps, he added.

It was the second edition of the competition organized by the Polish Society for Enterprise Support (PTWP). In total, the awards were granted to eight investors, including four foreign investors in Poland and four Polish investors pursuing foreign expansion strategies.
